The Main ARTery publication

Your source for creativity and fine art in the Quad-State region!
Picture
The Main ARTery (TMA) is the Transcendental Arts Council’s Journal of Creativity and is being produced and published in association with My Art Brokers of West Virginia.

TMA comes out bi-monthly and features interviews with creative people from all walk of life to in-depth articles about the finer arts. In our modern day museum with walls of pulp and glue rather than brick and mortar visitors can also read poetry, fictional short stories and excerpts from authors’ manuscripts.

The TMA was distributed throughout the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia as well as the neighboring communities in Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

The Publication was halted in 2008 after 3 years of being published due to financial related issues.  We hope to bring it back one day with force and vengeance and on a bigger scale.

United States of Energy - Catalog:

Picture
The United States of Energy exhibition was our most ambitious Energy/Synergy show to date featuring 16 artists from around the country. To commemorate this historical exhibition at The Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center in Frederick Maryland we decided to publish our first catalog. This publication is the first ever (as far as we know) to mark the discovery of this new Synergy art movement. The production and design of the catalog was overseen by David Heatwole with editing by David & Dawn Heatwole. The cover design was created by Jim Isakson and the bulk of the biographies of each artist were written by Joanne McCoy and Karen O'Keefe with a forward by TAC's Vice President David Shelby. This publication was our first and is registered in the Library of Congress.

We hope you will take the time to read and enjoy this publication. To get your limited hardcopy edition of the full color catalog please visit our On-Line Store for details (sure to be a collector's item)!
